Terms & Conditions

The rules for using this site, and the rules that apply to contributions.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

These terms apply to votenabil.ca, the campaign website of Nabil Ahmed, candidate for Town Councillor in Ward 1, Town of Milton, Ontario. By using this site you agree to them.

What this site is

This is an election campaign website. It is published by the Nabil Ahmed campaign and is not a website of the Town of Milton, Halton Region or any government body. Nothing here is an official notice of the election. Official information — voting dates, locations, ballots and the voters’ list — comes from the Town Clerk at milton.ca.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep this site accurate, and we check election dates and rules against the Town’s own materials. Even so, information here is provided as-is and may change. Dates, hours and voting locations are set by the Town and can be updated at any time; always confirm them with the Town before you rely on them. Campaign commitments describe what Nabil Ahmed will advocate for as one member of Council; no single councillor can guarantee an outcome that Council as a whole decides.

Contributions

Contributions made through this site are political contributions governed by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. By contributing you confirm that:

Contributions are not tax-deductible and are not a charitable donation. Any contribution that does not meet these rules will be returned to you or paid to the Town Clerk, as the Act requires. Card payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your statement as NABIL AHMED CAMPAIGN. If you contributed in error or believe an amount is wrong, email nabilahmedrealtor@gmail.com and we will refund it. Contributions can only be accepted during the campaign period, which ends December 31, 2026.

Using the form

Use the form to reach the campaign honestly: give us information that is yours to give, do not impersonate anyone, and do not send abusive, threatening or unlawful content. We may decline any request, including a lawn sign request, at our discretion.

Lawn signs

Lawn signs remain the property of the campaign. Signs are placed only on private property with the occupant’s permission and in line with Milton’s Election Sign By-law 011-2018. We remove all signs within 72 hours after Election Day. If you want a sign taken away sooner, ask us and we will collect it.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs and design of this site belong to the Nabil Ahmed campaign. You may share and link to pages freely, and members of the media may reproduce material from the media kit. Please do not alter campaign photographs or use them to suggest an endorsement that does not exist. The Town of Milton’s name, logo and identifiers are the Town’s property and are not used to imply Town endorsement.

Links to other sites

We link to the Town of Milton, the Province of Ontario and Stripe for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy.

Liability

This site is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the campaign is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
